Today, a distinguished delegation comprising members from the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) and NTPC embarked on a crucial project review visit to North Karanpura. Led by Shri Jishnu Barua, Chairperson of CERC, and accompanied by Shri Arun Goyal, Member (Finance), Shri Pravas Kumar Singh, Member (Law), Shri Harpreet Singh Pruthi, Secretary, Shri Rajeev Pushkarna, Chief, Finance Division, and Dr. S.K. Chatterjee, Chief, Regulatory Affairs, of CERC the visit aimed at assessing the progress and intricacies of ongoing projects in the region.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by NTPC representatives, Shri Shivam Srivastava, Director (Fuel), Shri Sudeep Nag, RED ER-I & ER-II, Shri Ajay Dua, ED (Comml), Shri Animesh Jain, RED Coal Mining (CMHQ), Shri Rajnish Rastogi, CGM HR CMHQ, and Shri A S Pandey, GM (Comml).
The comprehensive review encompassed various aspects of the projects, including regulatory compliance, financial viability, and legal implications, underscoring the commitment to ensuring the seamless execution of energy initiatives in North Karanpura.
